Available from Saturday 14th October! Rye sourdough has a really unique flavour - it's dark and rich and has a subtle fruity flavour! It makes a fantastic sandwich and incredible toast! Admittedly as Rye has a flavour that is so different to wheat, it's not to everyone's taste, but if you do like it it will probably end up being one of your favourite breads - it's certainly one of mine! This boule is a 70% Rye (with wheat making up the rest, as 100% rye bread does tend to be incredibly dense!) Despite this, this is still a much denser loaf than what you may usually be used to as rye is very low in gluten! This loaf is approx 600g in weight

Rye bread is different to other breads in that it has to 'ripen' for 12 hours after baking, so I make my Rye bread the night before I deliver to ensure it's ready to eat when you receive it!

Best eaten on day of purchase or on the following day. This bread freezes very well. Simply wrap well in cling film or seal in a freezer bag and freeze on day of purchase and consume within 3 months of freezing. Allow to defrost IN the bag or cling film for approx 4 hours at room temperature or until completely defrosted & enjoy!

Ingredients: Rye flour, Wheat flour, water, salt. Dusted with Rice flour or Rye Flour.

Semolina may be used to dust trays/tins, and small traces of vegetable/rapeseed oil used to line trays/tins.

Contains gluten, rye, wheat
